Tuckerman's Ravine

Beautiful day watching skiers in Tuckerman's ravine.....May 4, 2013. A must event every spring. Each year we say we will ski it, but being a spectator is so much fun!

Shenandoah National Park

Here are some scenes from Shenandoah National Park. The AT runs through it so of course we had to hike a bit of it, as the marker indicates. The waterfalls were great. Hiking up Old Rag was fun. Lots of tight spaces of rock formations to climb through. Unfortunately it was a very cloudy and foggy day, so no views from the top. We did snag a view of what we climbed the next day from a different part of the park. Would love to get to see all the National Parks in the country. This makes number 16!!

Views from Mt. Pierce

It is still winter at 4,000+ feet. We hiked Mt Pierce this weekend. Great views of Mt. Washington. These hikes never get old! Yukon had a blast.

Mount Monroe 2/22/13

Great hike up Mount Monroe. Sunny, very little wind, and clear skies. Lots of people out and about on a great day. Here are some photos and video from the day.

A beautiful day of hiking up the Tuckerman's Ravine trail. Yukon was a wild man.....like he was a youngster again! Great weather. Wondering where all the snow is??
